Established in 1972 by the late Dato Tan Hwa Ho, K.H.H. Double Lion began its journey as a humble manufacturer of flavored concentrates and cordials. With a steadfast commitment to quality, we have grown into a trusted name in the beverage industry.

Our Milestone

1972

Established in 1972 by the late Dato Tan Hwa Ho, K.H.H Double Lion started off in a terrace house at Desa Jaya, Kepong manufacturing Flavoured Drink Base (Bes Minuman Berperisa) products. Our first brand, Double Lion (Cap Singa Kembar) was an instant hit in the market. We maintained a close relationship with our customers, listened to their feedback and constantly improve our products to meet their expectation.

1980s

In 1982, we proudly obtained HALAL certification from JAKIM for our full product range. And we expanded into a new facility located in Taman Ehsan Industrial Area, Kepong. Outfitted with modern machinery and managed by qualified QC teams, the factory operates under strict supervision to ensure superior product quality.

1990s

Encouraged by the strong market share of Flavoured Drink Base throughout Malaysia, we started to expand our range of products to manufacture Flavoured Concentrate (Bes Minuman Berperisa) in 12 unique flavours. We built our second factory and brought in new machinery to increase production. With the slogan “Lebih Pekat, Lebih Jimat”, we are committed to offer consumers safe and affordable beverage.

2000s

We continuously raise our standard and are proud to achieve the ISO 9001:2000 in conjunction with HACCP in 2004 to ensure consistent product quality and food safety. With growing demand from overseas markets such as Singapore, Brunei, and Indonesia, our production capacity now reaches 36,000 liters per day for Flavoured Concentrates (Bes Minuman Berperisa). Our R&D teams and nutritionists continuously innovate and develop new ideas and flavours to cater to the diverse tastes of consumers. We are also committed to supporting local industries by sourcing local products and raw materials wherever possible.

2010s

We expanded the Flavoured Concentrates (Bes Minuman Berperisa) offerings to bring more variety and value to our customers, optimized production efficiency to deliver consistent quality, and launched online and offline engagement programs to build lasting relationships with our community and partners.

2020s
